In 2015, Apple brought the Retina-quality display to the 21.5-inch iMacs too – this time 4K – but it’s the big, 27-inch model I’m reviewing here. While it looked identical to its predecessor, the pin-sharp screen was an enormous improvement. It might not have gained as many plaudits as the iPhone 6S, but last year’s 5K 27-inch iMac was a revelation.
